"Keepin It Local!" Open every Saturday 9am-3pm from November 3rd- May

Our mantra is "Keepin It Local1" As such, our intention has always been to supply our local community with local products and crafts. That's why we're so pleased to announce our new venture.... Winter Market -Elgin will be showcasing all of our Winter Market vendors, at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore-Elgin 40,000 sq. ft facility at 800 North State, Elgin. This is local pairing at its finest.

Location:
800 North State Street in Elgin, IL
On Route 31, approximately one mile south of I-90, and one mile north of downtown Elgin (1 block south of Big Timber).

From locally grown vegetables, herbs, meat, poultry, eggs, breads, preserves and gourmet treats to handcrafts....all under one roof -all winter long!

Free to the Public/Free Parking/Handicapped Accessible

Objective
Sustain local producers and their laborers year round;
Decrease the number of food miles from farm to table;
Educate consumers about buying, storing and using produce during the winter;
To give the growers alternative marketing opportunities;
To improve the variety, freshness, taste and nutritional value of produce available in the Elgin area during the Winter;
To provide an opportunity for farmers/ local crafters and people from all communities to deal directly with each other rather than through third parties, and to thereby get to know and learn from one another; and
To enhance the quality of life in the greater Elgin area by providing a community activity which fosters social gathering and interaction.
